As we get older, halting the advances of nature can sometimes need a helping hand. That is where non-surgical treatments come in!

Smoothing wrinkles around the eye, such as 'crow's feet' or laughter lines, smokers lines around the mouth and frown lines, can be softened using a substance called Botulinum Toxin.

It is very straightforward. We use a very fine needle to inject Botulinum Toxin into the area where needed. It usually takes around 3-4 days to see the full effects of the treatment. The results usually last up to 4 months.This treatment can be repeated and normally further treatments last longer .

Dermal Fillers are used to replenish the skin's reserves of hyaluronic acid that occur naturally in the skin and connective tissues. It has important structural and hydrating functions and is responsible for the fullness and firmness of the skin. It is known that as we grow older these reserves diminish, causing lines and wrinkles to appear, around the nose and lips for example.

At Clifton Down Dental Practice we use a unique form of stabilized non-animal hyaluronic acid called Restylane. This works by mimicking hyaluronic acid and 'plumps' up the skin so that the lines and wrinkles appear 'filled' relaxed and reduced. It delivers superb natural results.

Lips can also be made 'fuller' and more defined. Your skin will look suppler and younger.
