After graduating from Bristol University in 1973, Graham spent the next four years training in Oral and Maxillo-facial surgery in hospitals around Britain before joining the Dept of Dental Surgery at Bristol University as a full time lecturer.

After eight years in the post, he reduced this commitment to part time and opened a small practice in Clifton. It is this practice that formed the basis for our practice today.

Graham's interests in dentistry include surgical treatment and advanced restorative work. Both of these combine to facilitate dental implantology, which he started in 1992.

This, along with cosmetic dentistry, forms a large part of his busy schedule.

Annie qualified at Bristol University in 1989 and worked in local practices before joining Graham at his Whiteladies Road practice in 1994. In 2000 the practice relocated to its present address in Alma Road, Clifton, and Annie became a partner.

During her time in general practice Annie has completed many postgraduate courses and achieved a Diploma of Post Graduate Dental Surgery in 2000. She has also held a clinical assistant position at the Department of Oral and Maxillo-facial surgery at Frenchay Hospital for two years, consequently gaining experience in the extraction of wisdom teeth and other surgical procedures.

Like Graham, Annie has been carrying out implant work for several years and also offers a full range of cosmetic treatment including tooth whitening.

Nicola qualified at the University of Birmingham in 1997 and is a member of the International Academy for Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA) and the British Dental Bleaching Society (BDBS).

As well as preventative and restorative work she has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and is trained to carry out the latest techniques in microabrasion and tooth whitening.  She also offers a full spectrum of treatments from aesthetic dentistry, including facial aesthetic procedures utilising Botox and dermal fillers.

Nicola joined the practice as an associate in 2002.

Ediz qualified at Bristol Dental Hospital in 2005 and is a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons (MFDS RCS Eng.) He spent 2 years working at Bristol Dental Hospital obtaining advanced restorative experience and working in the Oral and Maxillofacial Department.

Ediz's interests in dentistry include advanced restorative dentistry, periodontal surgery, and treating anxious patients.  Ediz has completed a Diploma in Conscious Sedation (Kings College London).  He is currently undergoing a Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital (Unversity College London)

He is a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry and British Society for Restorative Dentistry.

Ediz joined the practice in 2008.

Sharon has been a member of the team since 1994. She qualified as a dental hygienist in 1991 and has worked in hospital, NHS and private dentistry.

She has been an active member of her professional association both at regional and national level.

Sharon's aim is to provide effective dental care and oral health and prides herself on striving for pain-free treatment

Julie qualified as a dental nurse in 1989. She has attended a number of training courses during her time at the practice including four-handed dentistry and is also an implant trained nurse.

She joined the practice in 1999, leaving to have her family and returning as a Dental Nurse and Practice Administrator.

Jade gained her qualification as a Registered Dental Nurse in 2005 after completing her training at Bristol Dental Hospital. She also trained as an orthodontic nurse and worked in general practice before joining our team in March 2007. She is also an Implant trained nurse.

Carol trained both in general practice and at Bristol Dental Hospital gaining her qualification in 1998.

Both before and after joining the practice in 2004, Carol has undertaken several training courses. She has attained qualifications in radiography and is also an implant trained nurse.

Tara trained at the Bristol Dental Hospital for two years and qualified in 2005.She worked with hygiene therapists for two years before joining the practice in 2008.She is also an implant trained nurse. 

Jackie trained and qualified as one of the first recognised Practice Managers in 1996 after working as a dental nurse and receptionist for over 20 years.

She has been Practice Manager  since 1997 firstly with Graham Hooper and then moving to our present building . During this time she has continued with her Professional Development by attending several courses both administrative and practical.
